Ingredients
Mushrooms – ½ cup
Groundnut or ricebran oil – 1 tsp
Wheat flour – 1 tsp
Skim milk – ¼ cup
Kosher salt and pepper – to taste
Method
Clean and slice mushrooms. lightly blanch in 1 cup water for 2 minutes. Drain and keep aside. Do not throw away the water. Heat a pan. Put oil, add wheat flour. Roast well. Add slim milk and cook till medium thick saucy consistency. Add the mushroom stock as much required for a soupy consistency. Then add the mushrooms, seasonings and switch off gas. Serve hot.
