Ingredients
Skim paneer – 100 gm
Bell peppers – 1
Onion – 1
Mushrooms- 5-6
Garlic – 4 cloves
Ginger – 1“ piece
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Red chilli paste – 1 tsp
Vinegar – ½ tsp
Ricebran or groundnut oil – 1 tsp
Method
For sauce: heat oil. Add chopped garlic, ginger and saute for 2 minutes. Add chilli paste, vinegar, soya sauce and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and simmer till water is reduced to half the quantity. Add salt. Switch off.
For shashlik: cut paneer in cubes. Chop onion peppers in large chunks. Wash and clean mushrooms. Take a skewer and arrange the paneer and veggies in it as you like. Take a flat pan and spray oil . put the skewer on it and pour the sauce over it. Keep turning till veggies are semi cooked. Take off and serve hot.
Note: u can also alternatively make the shahlik in otg in griller area.
